| In last 5 years there is a significant decline in the use of aqueous ink. The main reason for this stagnation is the growing sales of eco-solvent inks, a type of ink that is ecologically friendly, organic and nontoxic and complies with health and safety regulations. Eco Solvent Ink allows users the possibility to print directly onto low-cost standard available uncoated PVC and scrim banner media. They do not contain any dangerous solvents nor spread any volatile organic compounds into the working environment; therefore they are the true environmental-friendly light solvent inks. The eco-solvent inks can print on uncoated vinyl, while a coated vinyl substrate must be used with aqueous ink to ensure that the ink adheres, an uncoated or lightly coated vinyl substrate can be used with eco-solvent printers. |
